Keller Williams VIP in Bells Corners hosted a chili cook off fundraiser to raise the money for Emily and her Mom to fly to Orlando for another speaking engagement. Someone donated Emily’s entire flight anonymously and we thank them and everyone else who helps us immensely. |
| April 30, 2008 Thanks to Allan Cayer, a member of the Ottawa South Rotary Club and Keller Williams VIP Real Estate Agent, Emily found out she liked telling others about her fundraising efforts and about Tyler when she had her first opportunity to speak in public at a luncheon attended by 13 members. The Club donated $1,000. |

When Emily’s grandpa mentioned to the Charity Committee at Keller Williams VIP that he was going to be very busy helping with his granddaughter’s Charity Garage Sale the rest of the committee members were quick to jump on board. Theresa Quann-Bakker was instrumental in introducing Emily to the other Keller Williams offices in Ottawa who chose her as their Youth Charity recipient. Emily was asked to speak at their annual Inspirational Breakfast in October 2008. She took this opportunity to introduce Tyler to the 450 guests in attendance and was presented with a donation of $5,000 from the three local Keller Williams’ offices. |

| February 25, 2009 Emily’s grandpa, Paul Desrochers, a real estate broker with Keller Williams VIP in Bells Corners, introduced Emily at the Keller Williams International Family Reunion’s Inspirational Brunch in Florida celebrating quiet heroes.
