Hi Carol and Emily,
I just wanted to let you know that your idea has inspired me and my family to raise
money for our family member who is very ill. When I read your sign I was going to
donate my items to you but it then got me thinking that I could do the same as Emily. I
wanted to raise money for my cousin who suffers from a very rare disease that only 1 in
2 million have. It is Pulmonary Hypertension and he is now 11 years old and very ill.
So I got my family and friends together and pooled all of our items and today finally had
a garage sale. IT was a huge success as we raised $327.00. Thanks to your idea and
your initiative we were able to put this all together. I am sorry that I did not send you my
items but I thought it would be nice for Emily to know that her idea and hard work as
inspired others to do the same.
Thank you and best of luck in your future garage sales and I will be sure to look out for
your next one to donate items that I collect over time.

Good afternoon,
I was just looking at your website and reading up on Emily and her
fundraiser. I noticed that there were a lot of pictures of the event held
in Blackburn Hamlet and I was wondering if I could get a photo that
was taken of my daughter and Emily. This picture was taken at the
end of the fundraiser when my daughter gave Emily all the money that
she had made selling her toys at our garage sale that day. Her name
is Kylie and she was very happy to meet Emily.
